01 — The platform

How it works

Three layers of an industrial revolution, deployed in modules.

B
Biology

Engineered enzymes that convert simple, abundant, inexpensive bio-based feedstocks — dextrose, water, compressed air — into high-value molecules.

Biocatalysis
C
Chemistry

Novel metal catalysts and continuous-flow process engineering, perfected from the Navy to Merck to General Mills.

Process engineering
M
Modular Manufacturing

Pre-fabricated "Forges" that ship on a truck and go live in weeks, not years. Regionally defined, locally deployed.

Factory-in-a-box
02 — Our Forges

One platform. Four forge types.

Each Forge is a self-contained chemical plant engineered around a single class of molecules. Pull up to a site, plug in feedstock, ship product out the back.

BioForge — biocatalysis in action
01
Bioforge

BioForge

Our process starts with simple, abundant, inexpensive bio-based feedstocks. Dextrose, water, and compressed air is continuously pumped into our enzyme oxidation reactor where engineered enzymes begin the conversion.

TerraForge facility
02
Terraforge

TerraForge

Built for upstream energy applications. TerraForge delivers molecules that protect field equipment, recover flow assurance, and slash operating cost — without the truck-rolls of conventional chemistry.

AcroForge in the field
03
Acroforge

AcroForge

Defensible, on-demand molecules for aerospace and defense applications. Designed for austere environments and the tactical edge, with a footprint that's low-detectable and logistically light.

BlendForge storage facility
04
Blendforge

BlendForge

Final-formulation and blending. Takes the output of any upstream Forge and turns it into ready-to-ship product — finished, quality-controlled, and on-spec.

03 — Where Forges ship

Built for the missions that matter.

Three industries where supply-chain resilience and molecular performance are non-negotiable.

Energy

Produce more oil and gas, with fewer molecules going to waste.

Molecule to Mission

Missions are built on molecules
and delivered through scale.

04 — How We Operate

Demand-driven, not supply-pushed.

Our model helps output and accelerate chemical products that are proven out the gate.

01

Mission-critical customer problem

Socratic problem assessment — we start by listening to the operator.

02

Value-in-use analysis

Our problem assessment lets production lead directly into requirements.

03

Solution implementation

Rapid scale-up of a new solution, with on-going technical services baked in.

04

Molecule is the solution

Support through existing problems — molecule-by-molecule, site-by-site.

05 — Strategic Advantages

Why the old chemistry can't keep up.

In-depth understanding of partner's problem

From operator to executive, we speak the language of the mission.

Supply chain resilience

Regionally defined production removes single points of failure.

Low / no waste generation

Biocatalytic pathways eliminate the legacy waste streams of petrochemistry.

Faster deployment

Modules ship pre-fabricated and go live in weeks, not years.

Regionally defined production

Build capacity where the customer needs it — not where the feedstock happens to be.

Low detectable footprint

Compact, quiet, and operationally unobtrusive — critical for tactical and remote sites.

Mission & Values

Planet-scale change starts at the molecular level.

At Solugen, we believe that planet-scale change starts at the molecular level. Harnessing the power of biology and chemistry, we are reimagining how life's essential materials are manufactured — with the world's first sustainable chemical plant.

By bringing high-performing, cost-competitive, sustainable products to market, we aim to combat climate change, spur economic growth, and bolster domestic manufacturing.
